Catherine I Rouble 1725-СПБ MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Diakov-54, KM169, small trefoils part legend, СПБ on reverse, divided by eagle's tail СП-Б. Obv. Crowned and mantled bust of Catherine I left. Rev. Crowned double-headed eagle with orb and scepter. A conditionally extremely rare issue, with this example the only piece certified in Mint State by NGC and the next finest piece grading XF45. An absolutely amazing example, with incredible, brilliant frosty mint luster. A touch of golden patina is noted, with surfaces free of all but the most insignificant flaws. By far the finest example of this issue we have seen.
