Peter II Novodel Poltina (1/2 Rouble) 1727 AU58 NGC, Red mint, Bit-H40 (R3), Sev-907 (Very Rare), KM-NK6, milled edge. Obv. Laureate and armored bust of Peter II right. Rev. Crowned double-headed eagle with orb and scepter. Bright, and lustrous, with reflective fields. The strike is nice and a hint of russet patina is present on both sides. Minor flan flaws, and light marks, are noted in the left reverse field. An extremely rare issue that is found in plain edge, and milled edge, varieties. Both are extremely rare, but the milled edge variety seems to appear a bit less often than the plain edge.
