Peter III Novodel Pattern Rouble 1762-CПБ AU58 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, Bit-H44 (R2), Diakov-N14, overstruck on earlier Rouble (Catherine II?), milled edge. Obv. Armored bust of Peter III right. Rev. Cruciform crowned monogram with III in each angle, date in center. Gray and russet toning, with underlying luster and reflective obverse fields. The strike is bold, with slight rubbing on the high points and light marks. A very rare issue, with only one example certified finer by NGC.
