Alexander I Novodel 2 Kopecks 1824 KM-AM MS66 Red and Brown NGC, Suzun mint, cf. KM-C118.5, Bitkin-H516. Extremely lustrous and glossy, with the obverse emblazoned in a rich redness, the reverse in an enchanting mix of brown and cobalt blue. Superior to the Hesselgesser specimen, which realized a hammer of $350 in Goldberg 31 (May 2005).
