Franz Joseph I gold 100 Corona 1908 MS61 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM2812, Fr-514. A solid Mint-State example of this anniversary-of-reign commemorative, featuring the allegorical "Lady in the Clouds" motif and the bust of Franz Joseph. Upon rotation, the glossy, low-lying fields produce a lovely flash, highlighting the high-relief design illustrations in the process. And, as is commonplace for the type, a number of grade-limiting marks scatter both sides. Even so, this beautifully-produced issue still solicits great interest at all levels, and as such, this selection is sure to please.
