Franz Joseph I gold Proof 100 Corona 1908 PR65 Cameo NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM2812, Fr-514. A miraculous survivor of this immensely popular issue that was struck to commemorate Franz Joseph's 60th anniversary of reign, showing the iconic illustration of Fame seated in the billowing clouds, flanked by a laureate wreath and shield. About as fresh as the day it was minted, likely put away in a coin cabinet immediately to keep it as such, with a planchet that is fully drenched in citrus-hued coloration and open mirrors that are deeply imbued with reflectivity. The strike is superb, with every detail across the Emperor's portrait sharply portrayed, as well as a meticulously crafted reverse that contains pinpoint definition across the board. Post-strike imperfections are essentially absent as the eye easily maneuvers the planchet without anything to impede its path, and this example in its entirety could not be more exceptional. In accordance, this offering is presently the finest-certified example of the issue-the only specimen to reach the Gem Proof plateau-and for a singular type that seems to only garner more steam as its offered, this basically perfect selection should command a superior premium to match its technical quality. A coin that will immediately elevate the status of its next collection, and a prize to behold in all regards.

Estimate: 60000-75000 USD
