A gently circulated example with flares of original mint luster that still manage to brighten the surfaces and typical softness noted to the central strikes on both sides. A bit of russet color lines the outer registers, and the fields contain mild post-strike handling marks that align with the designation. Even at this level, this scarce issue still brings much excitement to the collector, and as this current offering is without the usual impairments seen for the type, it is in total a wonderful representative from this fleeting series.
