Copper Company of Upper Canada Proof white metal Pattern "Restrike" 1/2 Penny Token "1794" (1894), AU Details (Cleaning) PCGS Genuine, PF-12 (?), Br-721. Struck in medal rotation. Obv. Reclining river god, holding trident, with date below. Rev. COPPER COMPANY OF UPPER CANADA in center circle with date around. Bright silvery-gray patina, with prooflike fields. The strike is sharp and the surfaces exhibit light marks, and heavy hairlines on the obverse. Even though this variety (PF-12) doesn't seem to appear in the PCGS online census, we assume that is is the only "lead" striking certified by PCGS. Exceedingly rare.
