French and Comorian crossed flags in a wreath, with inscriptions above and below. Rev. Circular inscriptions, with several weapons and the date. The finest of only two pieces certified Specimen by NGC. This breathtaking example showcases reflective satiny, lustrous surfaces beneath superbly struck devices with glorious gold, blue, and purple toning. It would be difficult to imagine a finer, more natural example of this popular one-year type.
