Fuad I gold Service Medal AH 1347 (1928/29) MS65 PCGS, Barac-15. 30mm. Edge 30R flanked by cornucopias. By L. Rosen & Co, Cairo. A 1st class "Grace and Favour" medal issued for 35 years of service, featuring the uniformed bust of Fuad I and crowned, mantled arms within an oak wreath. High relief illustrations are boldly rendered with only trivial evidence of handling on the exposed relief and surrounding expanses that are richly colored in apricot hues. Also issued in silver and bronze, but absolutely rare in gold format. Included with the medal is the attached suspension, as made, and the original ribbon.
