Napoleon gold 20 Francs 1812-A MS66 NGC, KM695.1, Fr-511. Though not a rare type, one rarely encounters these in such an elite state of preservation. Of the 392 examples graded by NGC, a mere two have been graded at the MS66 level, with none higher. If we assume that those graded coins are a representative sampling of the entire surviving population of the type, then this coin on offer here ranks within the top 1% of all known pieces. That's quite an impressive feat, and hence why we felt it appropriate to include an otherwise common type in our exclusive Platinum Night session.
