An important, conditionally scarce issue in this lofty near-Gem grade, with evident die polish lines (as made) in the fields that impart a semi-prooflike appearance and tinges of vivid orange-gold tone that produce exceptional eye-appeal. We last sold a NGC-graded MS63+ of this date for $11,162.50 at last year's NYINC auction, and given the continued international demand for the this large gold type, we wouldn't be surprised to see further price appreciation for this delightful example.
