The inaugural year from this rather limited series, featuring a bold strike for the type and a light layer of tone across the otherwise amber-colored surfaces. Once in hand, this near-Gem further delights the eye with glowing luster that easily meanders the fields, and other than a few minor strike-throughs, open expanses that have been well-protected from the effects of handling. As such, it is not surprising that this offering is presently the highest-certified example of the type, and thus belongs in a cabinet of similarly-prized gold specimens.
