Great Britain
George I gold 5 Guineas 1726 XF45 PCGS, Royal mint, KM547, S-3626. Some even wear throughout, but without any singular marks that distract the eye. Overall, it is quite more appealing than the relatively modest technical grade would suggest, with pleasant russet toning along the peripheries. This is a type that we have not offered an example of in over two years, and in the interim the market for British gold crowns in all grades has gone up quite a bit. Worthy of serious consideration for the collector who wants an appealing circulated example of this type.
