George IV gold Proof 2 Pounds 1826 PR62 Cameo PCGS, Royal mint, KM701, S-3799, WR-228. With a mintage of only 400 pieces, one does not encounter this type too often. Mirrored surfaces and delicately frosted devices, this is a very attractive piece. In the interest of completeness, though, we do note a small planchet disturbance on the obverse just above the 6 in the date; other than that, though, the surfaces are problem free aside from the few light hairlines that one would expect of a PR62.
