Victoria gold 2 Pounds 1887 MS66 PCGS, Royal mint, KM768, S-3865. A stunning example, hardly ever seen in such an elite state of preservation. Amazingly, of the combined 478 circulation-strike examples of this issue seen by both NGC and PCGS, this is the single-highest graded piece; everything else is MS65 or below. A lovely original piece with much underlying luster, one certainly sees why this qualified in the eyes of Jacob Terner to be included in his illustrious collection.
