Augustin I Iturbide gold 8 Escudos 1823 Mo-JM XF45 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM314, Fr-60. Struck for just a few short months before the demise of Iturbide and the First Mexican Empire, this impressive large gold issue features only light, even wear, and some areas of a darker tone around the devices. Some typical striking weakness is present near the central parts of the obverse and reverse, along with a few planchet impurities. Nevertheless, a wholesomely pleasing example of this popular type.
