Carol I gold 100 Lei 1906 MS62 PCGS, Brussels mint, KM40, Fr-4. Commemorating the 40th anniversary of Carol's reign. A rare and popular type, boasting a mintage of just 3,000 pieces, this type is very difficult to encounter in grades of mint state such as this example. However, some scattered hairlines, along with a few noticeable scratches, emanating from the upper lip of Carol's younger portrait, are noted for completeness.
