Philip IV gold Cob 8 Escudos ND (1640-45) MD-B MS62 NGC, Madrid mint, KM-136.2, Fr-199. Obv. Crowned arms. Rev. Cross pattee in quadrilobe. The usual crude strike for this type, with missing date and considerable luster remaining. Even with the partial legends, the condition is exceptional for the type. This is the only Mint State example certified by NGC.
