PAEONIAN KINGDOM. Lycceius (ca. 359-335 BC). AR tetradrachm (23mm, 12.69 gm, 3h). NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 5/5. Struck 356-335 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right, dotted border / ΛΙΚΚ − ΕIΟΥ, nude Heracles crouched to left, with his arms wrapped around the neck of he Nemean lion, bow and quiver below-right. SNG ANS 1019 (this obverse die). AMNG III/2, 8 (this obverse die). Paeonian Hoard 63 (this obverse die). Obverse a bit off-center, but nearly perfect on reverse; otherwise, deeply struck and nicely toned.
