IONIA. Magnesia ad Meandrum. Ca. 350-325 BC. AR drachm (16mm, 3.59 gm, 11h). NGC XF★ 5/5 - 5/5. Rhodian standard. Pithion, magistrate. Armored cavalryman, holding lance, on horse galloping right / ΜΑΓΝ above, bull charging left, head lowered, ΠΙΤΟΙ below; all within circular Maeander pattern. P. Note: Identified as a hemidrachm by NGC, but 3.59 grams is correct for a Rhodian drachm.
