Bar Kokhba Revolt (AD 132-135). Æ middle bronze (27mm, 10.54 gm, 6h). NGC AU★ 5/5 - 5/5. Dated Year 2 (AD 133/4). Paleo-Hebrew Year two of the freedom of Israel, vine leaf on tendril / Simon across fields; seven-branched palm tree with two bunches of dates. Hendin 1408a. Dark green patina with light earthen fields. Cleanly struck on an immense flan for this type; overstruck on a Roman provincial bronze of Antioch(?), with some of undertype visible around periphery.
