Titus, as Caesar (AD 69-79). AR denarius (17mm, 3.37 gm, 6h). NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5. Judaea Capta issue. Antioch, under Vespasian, ca. AD 72-73. T CAES IMP VESP PON TR POT, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Titus right, with slight beard / Palm tree; to left, Titus standing right, holding spear and parazonium, foot on helmet; to right, Jewess seated right in attitude of mourning. RIC 1562 (Vespasian). Hendin 1492. RPC 1934. An uncommonly detailed example of this rare type, showing Titus with a light "battle beard."
