SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head of Severus right / COS III P P, frontal view of arch of Septimius Severus, with of large central arch flanked by two smaller bays divided by columns, the top surmounted by statues of Septimius in chariot, flanked by figures of Caracalla and Geta on horseback. RIC IV 259. RSC 104. Very rare architectural type! Toned gray surfaces, with lighter silver around devices.
