Revalued at 500 reis in 1663 (Type IV crowned 500 mark) and then later (in 1688) marked with a circular stamp at the peripheries that bears the titles of João IV. The second circular mark partially runs over the initial mark, making it difficult to determine definitively if it was the "500" variety (LMB-P096) or "500" variety (LMB-P102).
