João VI 320 Reis 1821-B AU55 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM324.3. The cabinet friction may have held this coin back from a higher grade level and keep in mind this coin was probably struck over another coin. The strike seems to be weak on the highpoints however the luster is reminiscent of an UNC coin. There are only 2 specimens graded at NGC to date and this one seems to be a bit conservatively for the assigned numerical value. A splendid example of this scarce specimen.
