Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1751 So-J AU55 NGC, Santiago mint, KM3, Onza-644. The strike shows some incompleteness in the centers, but little evidence of past circulation is seen. The surface quality, especially on the obverse, almost definitively ties this coin as a recovery piece from the Nuestra Senora de la Luz shipwreck.
