Cundinamarca. Nueva Granada Real 1813-JF AU55 NGC, KM-F1. There is no corrosion on this coin at all anywhere and these were struck with fairly crude dies. The obverse has a great amount of luster for the grade and there is some rub on the chin and cheek area of the effigy. The reverse has some of the pomegranate design missing on the highpoints and advanced collectors will recognize this as a design flaw in general. A considerable amount of luster is found on the reverse as well and overall this is a splendid example of this scarce type as most are found in much worse condition.
