Louis XVI gold 2 Louis d'Or 1786-AA MS62 NGC, Perpignan Mint, KM592.2. The eye-appeal for the type is exceptional as many of these are not found in this wondrous state of preservation. For the type and date this beautifully preserved example is the finest graded at NGC to date. The coin does have adjustment marks on both sides with very well struck up details and a splendid golden patina. There is a faint surface scratch from his neck to his wig but in no way does this impede the overall beauty.
