Napoleon 1/2 Franc L'An 12-A (1802) MS63 PCGS, Paris mint, KM655.1. We sold a similar example which was graded MS64 in our NYICS 2016 for $1116 and the difference between this example and that one is minimal. The strike for this coin is very full which produced a slight prooflike appearance and traces of colorful tones being light blue, blue, and light amber exist as well. Trace adjustment marks are on the reverse and die clashes on the obverse left fields. These imperfections are nominal and the appearance is beautiful for the type.
