William III Shilling 1697-B MS65 NGC, Royal mint, ESC-1091. There is "haymarking" on the obverse and reverse. However, the strike is extremely sharp and shows no weakness anywhere on the coin. The colors that you are viewing online are more intense in person. Especially when the cartwheel luster takes a twirl or two. From the center to the peripheries the following electric colors exist : light amber, tangerine, coral red, merlot, sky blue, and light turquoise blue blend into each other seamlessly. The untoned ares area are a frosty delight to view. This is the finest and only specimen graded at NGC and for the toning enthusiast who enjoys colors may do more cartwheels than the luster itself to acquire this metallic eye-candy.
