George I "South Sea Company" Shilling 1723 MS64+ PCGS, KM539.3, S-3647, ESC-1176. First bust. Presenting the laureate portrait of King George with crowned cruciform shields and SS/C in angles all atop olive-gray surfaces that emit a surprising amount of coppery luster. As the reverse notes, this issue was struck with silver obtained by the South Sea Company, and as a whole, this selection truly captivates the eye.

Estimate: 300-400 USD
