Seated Neptune with trident and Victory in left hand. Struck in 1820 as part of Mudie's series commemorating British military victories. The settlement was in 1662, and The E.I. Company defeat of the French Fleet was in 1804. Chocolate-brown toning, with reflective fields and bold relief.
