Republic gold Colorized Proof "Horse" 25000 Tugrik 1996 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, KM145. A nouveau design type for Mongolian coinage and one of the first attempted colorized gold coins. Colorized coins in general are becoming popular amongst modern collectors of today. Only 300 of these coins depicting "EQUUS FERUS" were struck. The fields are watery gold flawless mirrors adorned with frosted details. This is the only example graded at NGC to date and we ponder how many were melted over the years as bullion.
