Islamic Republic gold Proof 500 Rupees 1977 PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS, KM49. Struck upon the 100th anniversary of the birth of Allama Mohammad Iqbal. We believe this is the standard issue of the type and not the proof, as there is little visible highpoint frost on this coin compared to other examples we've seen. Whatever the case, still very scarce, with a mintage of 200 in Proof and 500 in Circulation Strike format.
