Lead seal of Theophanes (proto)spatharios, 9th century. Obv. Double cross on three steps. Circular inscription within two borders of dots: KEROIΘITOCOΔΟVΛ (Κύριε βοήθη τῷ σοῦ δούλῳ). Rev. Inscription in seven lines, with the name and the title of the seal's owner. Lead. mm. 20.00 Good VF.
