Christ, nimbate, seated facing on backless throne, wearing pallium and colobium; raising right hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels in left; IC - XC / ISXS / bASILЄ / bASIL, inscription in three lines, cross pattée and dashes ornaments above and below. SBC 1856; D. O. pp. 690-91. VF for type, smooth surfaces, a touch of green on obverse.
