2 Cocle fruteros from Panama, ca. 600 - 1300 A.D. First, a lovely Parita style pedestal plate, ca. 1000 - 1300 AD. It is 2-1/2" in diameter and is elaborately decorated with zoomorphic designs on the tondo, geometric patterns on the flared base and even has a painted underside. In excellent condition. Together with a nice Conte style example, ca. 600 – 800 AD, 4-1/4” in diameter, decorated with traditional C-Y scroll designs and bold geometric designs on the base. Typical repairs.
