Lambayeque (Sican) whistle vessel from Peru, ca. 700 - 1300 A.D. It is 7-1/2” high and features a seated figure with a quizzical expression holding a hand to the side of the head. He is wearing a necklace and broad pectoral. Intact, good mineral deposits, with clear tone on the whistle. Ex Cohen estate. Value range: $700 - $1000.
