Fine stone grinding bowl from Costa Rica, ca. 500 - 1000 A.D. This nice tripod vessel from the Atlantic Watershed region is 6-3/4" in diameter and is made from a hard volcanic stone. Its interior and the bottoms of the three legs are worn smooth from extensive usage. Museum deaccession with 1969 collection number. Value range: $300 - $400.
