INDIA, Kushan Empire. Kanishka I. Circa AD 127-151. Æ Tetradrachm (27mm, 16.81 g, 12h). Main mint in Kapisha (Begram?). Middle phase. Kanishka standing facing, head left, holding goad and scepter, sacrificing over altar to left / Nana standing right, holding box and scepter. MK 766; ANS Kushan 540-5. Good VF, earthen black-green patina, deposits on edge, light cleaning scratches, details of beard enhanced.
