EGYPT, Alexandria. Domitian. AD 81-96. BI Tetradrachm (25mm, 11.90 g, 12h). Dated RY 6 (AD 86/7). Laureate head right / ΖЄVΣ ΣΑΡΑ[ΠΙΣ], Zeus-Sarapis seated left, holding scepter and right hand extended over Kerberos seated left at his feet; behind Zeus-Sarapis' head, a small figure of Nike crowning him; L ς (date) before. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 446; K&G 24.56; RPC II 2520 and note 48 (this coin, illustrated); Emmett 251.6 (R4). VF, toned with find patina on the reverse. Extremely rare.
