Commodus. As Caesar, AD 166-177. Æ As (25mm, 12.83 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Marcus Aurelius, AD 175-176. Bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Hilaritas standing facing, head left, holding long palm frond and cornucopia. RIC III 1547 var. (without cuirass); MIR 18, 346-17/13 var. (same). VF, dark green patina with patches of brown, some light smoothing.
