Bare head of Octavian left / Victory standing left on globe, holding wreath and palm frond. CRI 407; RIC I 254b; RSC 64 // Lot also includes a CAST FAKE of Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius. Bare head right / Augustus seated left on curule chair set on daïs, extending hand toward two soldiers, each carrying parazonium and presenting laurel branches. For type: cf. RIC I 165a; cf. RSC 133. As made. Octavian: Fine, toned, banker's marks, light marks and scratches. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
