Extremely Fine; beautiful even light brown over fresh surfaces, a bit of die wear in evidence; hair details weak at highest point-the design of this coin called for more metal than provided by the usual flan.

High grade George I farthings seem particularly rare, almost certainly a reflection of the dearth of small change during the reign of George I.
