George II. 1727-1760. Copper farthing. 4.92 gm. 23 mm. (Scarce two-year type). 1741. His old laureate and cuirassed bust left; GEORGIUS- II REX around ("U" instead of "V" in his name, used for only two years) / Britannia seated left; BRITAN-NIA around, 1741 below. S. 3721. Peck 885 (S). Near Extremely Fine; beautiful even chocolate brown over fresh surfaces; there are scrapes on the reverse that appear to have been on the flan before it was struck.
