His laureate head right, crescent behind; CAESAR IM in front; P M behind / Venus standing left. CRI 102. Crawford 480/4. RSC 22. Fine; pleasing portrait, clear legends. Reverse double struck, rotated tilted die. Decent example with good silver; major detail and most of obverse lettering clear. Affordable way to own a denarius with a portrait of Julius Caesar, well used at the time.
