Caria, Kaunos. Silver Stater (11.36 g), ca. 450-430 BC. Winged female figure in kneeling-running stance left, head right, holding kerykeion and wreath. Reverse: Baetyl(?) with loops on either side at apex; in upper left field, inverted Δ (K in Carian); to either side, pelleted fields; all within incuse square. Konuk 91 (O33/R32); Troxell 25 (same obv. die); SNG Keckman 824 (same dies). Rare. Lightly toned. Very Fine. Estimate Value $300 - 350
