Diademed bust of Eukratides I left viewed from behind, wearing crested helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear, and brandishing javelin. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ MEΓAΛOY EYKPATIΔOY, the Dioskouroi, each holding palm branch and couched lance, on horses rearing right; in lower right field, monogram. Bopearachchi 8B; SNG ANS 485. Boldly struck in very high relief. A magnificent fine style specimen exhibiting pleasing old cabinet toning. We note some fine antique scratches on both sides. Extremely Fine.
