Ptolemaic Kingdom. Arsinöe II, wife of Ptolemy II. Silver decadrachm (32.48 g), died 270 BC. Alexandria, under Ptolemy II, ca. 285-246 BC. Diademed and veiled head right before lotus-tipped scepter, he tip showing above her head; in left field, BB. Reverse: AΠΣINOHΣ ΦIΛAΔEΛΦOY, double cornucopiae bound with fillet. Svoronos 938; SNG Copenhagen 136 (same obv. die). Nicely toned. Area of horn silver on the reverse. Very Fine. Estimate Value $800 - 900
